Susan and Rochelle will be on an online panel discussing the takeovers of 888 Memorial Drive and the January 1971 New York City Fifth Street Women’s Building. Reeni Golden and Susan Sherman from the New York group will also speak. The takeovers had similar inspirations and goals, but different endings and legacies. LEFT ON PEARL and a shorter film about the Fifth Street takeover will be available for screening during the week before the panel discussion. The event is sponsored by the Tamiment archive, now part of New York University.
